The West Bengal government has launched a Scheme named ‘Krishak Bandhu Scheme‘ to provide security to the farmers of the state. This Scheme was initiated on January 30, 2019. Through this Scheme, both male and female farmers receive an annual grant of 10,000 rupees for agricultural work. Application for this Scheme can be made either online or offline.

Farmers in this state, aged between 18 and 60 years, can apply for this Scheme. Application for the Krishak Bandhu Scheme can be done once a year, and there is no need to reapply separately each year. Once applied, farmers receive the funds annually. To apply, farmers can collect forms from the nearest agricultural department office or government camp. Additionally, application forms can also be downloaded online.
