Haven’t you received the Rabi season payment under the Krishak Bandhu scheme in your bank account yet? Although the disbursement of the second installment under this scheme started on November 22, many beneficiaries have already received the funds in their bank accounts. Even today, several people have started receiving the money in their accounts. Evidence of this will be presented in today’s report. So, why haven’t you received the money yet? Why is there such a delay in the transfer? These questions are also discussed in detail in today’s report.
On November 21, during a meeting at Nabanna, Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced the disbursement of the Rabi season payments under the Krishak Bandhu scheme. Following the Chief Minister’s directives, the process of transferring money to farmers’ bank accounts began on November 22. However, due to bank holidays on November 23 and 24, no payments were processed on these two days. The transfers resumed on November 25. So far, funds have been credited to the bank accounts of numerous farmers. Even today, payments have been made to several farmers, with some evidence of this provided below.
Why is there such a delay in receiving the money?
The disbursement of funds under the Krishak Bandhu scheme began on November 22. This time, payments will be made to 1 crore 9 lakh farmers for the Rabi season. It is not possible to transfer money to such a large number of farmers in a single day. In the previous installments, some received the money within 2 days, some within 7 days, others within 15 days, and some even after 20 days. Therefore, you will need to wait to receive your payment under the Krishak Bandhu scheme.

Why haven’t you received the money yet?
The funds under the Krishak Bandhu scheme are not transferred through the DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) system like the central schemes. Instead, the money is sent using the beneficiary’s bank account number and IFSC code. Before disbursing the funds, the treasury is allocated to each district, and farmers receive the money based on that treasury allocation.
How can you check if you have received the money?
To check whether you have received the Rabi season payment under the Krishak Bandhu scheme, you can check the messages on your mobile. If the money has been credited, a notification will be sent to your registered mobile number. You can also update your bank passbook to confirm the payment. Additionally, you can visit the official website of the Krishak Bandhu scheme to check the status and confirm whether the payment has been credited.
