Farmers who have received the 17th installment under the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana are now waiting for the next installment. It is expected that the central government will soon deposit this money into the farmers’ accounts. However, the central government has not provided specific details on when the payments will start.
According to central government regulations, each installment is provided to farmers’ accounts every four months. The 17th installment was received by farmers on June 18, 2024. Therefore, following the four-month interval, farmers are expected to receive the 18th installment in October. Thus, it is anticipated that the payments for this installment will begin in October.

These farmers will not receive the money this time
Although poor farmers receive money from the PM-Kisan scheme at regular intervals, the government has now imposed stricter rules. Therefore, it is known that farmers who have not followed certain important rules will not receive the 18th installment in their accounts. The following tasks must be completed by farmers to ensure they receive their PM-Kisan funds:
- Providing KYC (Know Your Customer) is mandatory to receive PM-Kisan funds. Farmers who have not yet submitted their KYC will not receive the next installment in their accounts. Therefore, it is essential to complete the KYC submission before October.
- Farmers who have not yet completed land verification related to their property may have their current installment withheld.
- If farmers’ bank accounts are not linked with Aadhaar, the 18th installment will be withheld.
- Any errors in the application, such as incorrect name, Aadhaar number, or bank account number, must be corrected immediately. Otherwise, farmers will not receive the 18th installment.
